Centre City Birmingham – Mechanical Services Installation
North West Renewables successfully delivered the mechanical services package as part of the redevelopment of an existing car park area at Centre City, Birmingham, transforming the space to incorporate new shower facilities and a gymnasium.
Our works included the complete mechanical installation serving the newly developed areas, including the installation of a new Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) system to provide energy-efficient domestic hot water to the shower facilities.
A dedicated plant area was installed to accommodate the new mechanical equipment, distribution pipework and associated components, with our team responsible for delivering the installation through to testing and commissioning.
Due to the building remaining operational throughout the project, elements of the installation were undertaken outside normal working hours, requiring careful planning and coordination to minimise disruption to building users and surrounding areas.
